Never be envious of what others have, think less of yourself or what you feel your life is missing because not everything is what it seems; you can still shine in life without the material things because the heart is the richest thing we will ever own. You know what this saying is very true. I sit and wonder why people act the way they act to get the material things they want in life. The new Lexus sports car, the big fancy house, the perfect husband, even the latest music and clothing. We see other people with these things and its like "I have to get it too." We start to have that jealous crave that we can't control ourselves. Our self esteem in ourselves changes because we feel that were not the same as other people. Well, were not the same as other people. God created us in his own form of image. He gave each of us our own traits and gifts.We see people in music videos, especially hip-hop and its like we idolized them. we want to wear the things they wear and do the things they do. All these things are just a waste of time. SO the time we spend trying to be like others and what they have, thats the time your wasting your life. You don't need to be like that person you saw on tv yesterday, or that person you saw on the street with apple bottom jeans and the glitterly shirts and blings. We don't need to have that big fancy house with maids and cooks. We don't have to have the big sports car to make us looke good- or any of these material things, beacause as long as we live the way we should and have a heart that is rich, nothing else is needed. material things can't bring you happiness or pleasure, it only brings you bills after bills. Remember you can shine in life without the material things in life, as long as you keep God first, and be happy and grateful for what you have in life because there are some people who don't have anything at all. As long as you have the right attitude and purpose in life everything will work out for you and only you. Just keep your heart fixed on God, Keeap a prayer in your heart and believe that your life will be shining without the material things. So as you continue with your life, remember material things or Mr. Right won't contain happiness, only pain. The only person that contains happiness is you. You have the power within you to make you happy, not the power of others. Live life enjoying your life because When you look back 50 years from n now, these things won't matter. What matters is How you live your life by Keeping God first and being happy with oneself and grtaeful for what you have and continue to have.
